Rainy Day Pay Day Official Rules

Contest Name: Robertson Lawn Care Rainy Day Pay Day (the “Contest”)
Station:  WFMB-FM, WFMB-AM, WCVS-FM, and WXAJ-FM, (the “Station”)
Station Address: 3055 South 4th Street, Springfield, IL 62703
Telephone:  (217) 528-3033
Neuhoff Media Springfield, Inc., its subsidiaries and affiliated companies, and Robertson Lawn Care (together, the “Company”), will conduct the Contest substantially as described in these rules, and by participating, each participant agrees as follows:
1.             Description of Contest/Participation.
A.            Dates of Contest:  The Contest will begin and end on or about August 6, 2012 – September 30, 2012
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY.  PURCHASE DOES NOT INCREASE ODDS OF WINNING. Void where prohibited.  Odds of winning depend upon the number of participants.
B.            How to Play:
Listeners will go to,,, or and guess what date they think Springfield, Illinois, will receive at least one full inch of rain in “a day” as determined by the National Weather Service measurements at Abraham Lincoln Capital Airport.  “A day” according to the National Weather Service is measured starting at 1:00am CDST – 12:59am CDST the following day.  For the purposes of this contest, when a listener picks their date it is the date that starts at 1:00am.
Listeners can enter the contest August 6, 2012 – August 12, 2012 on each of the websites listed above.  Listeners may enter one time only and must pick a date between August 6, 2012 and no later than September 30, 2012.
If between August 6, 2012 and August 12, 2012 (entry period) we receive one full inch of rain in “a day”, everyone who entered before the day we received the rain will be eligible to win the contest. For example: if we receive an inch of rain between August 9 1:00am – August 10 12:59am, everyone who entered the contest August 6 – 8 is eligible to win if they picked August 9th as the day we would receive the rain.
If we do receive an inch of rain in “a day” between August 6 – September 30, 2012, but none of the listeners pick the correct date on which we receive the rain, a random drawing will be done from all entries for ten winners.  Each of those winners will receive $100.
If we don’t receive an inch of rain in “a day” sometime between August 6 – September 30, 2012, we will start the contest over again on a date to be determined.
Tie breaker in case more than one person picks the correct date: When entering the contest listeners must pick exactly how much rain to the hundredth of an inch they believe we will receive on the date they think will receive it.  In case of a tie, the person closest to the National Weather Service total without going over, wins.  If more than one person picks the exact amount of rain, we will do a random drawing from all correct rain total entries.
 C.           Prizes.
Grand prize is $1000 to the person to correctly choose the date on which Springfield, Illinois receives one inch of rain according to the rules above.
If we get the rain but no one chooses the correct date the prize is $100 to ten different winners.
